Hi! What`s up? I hope you are doing well. You know City of God (Cidade de Deus), the film... Don't you? Pois, é... esse filme, como é sabido, foi baseado no livro homônimo de Paulo Lins. Abaixo, um breve review do livro.
    So, the book is not on the table, it is "under" this paragraph! Funny, uh?! (sorry for that!)

City of God

Debut novel from Paulo Lins, City of God was published in 1997, regarded by critics as one of the greatest works of Brazilian contemporary literature, the book goes along with the social transformations that the carioca neighborhood of city of God went through – Standard of what happened in the whole country, when in the nineties the drug trafficking took over the sixties little criminality, violence commanded respect and the war began.
